RDP is normally used. ADP may be used only when the statutory conditions for it are met.
Work on a public holiday is paid at the higher of the statutory time-and-a-half calculation or agreement pay including penal rates.
What the employee would have earned on the day, including relevant regular taxable payments, expected overtime and incentive payments.
Gross earnings over the applicable period divided by the whole or part days on which those earnings were earned.
The employee gets at least time-and-a-half for time worked and normally gets an alternative holiday if it is otherwise a working day.
